Berühmt der 1868 vom Sturm niedergeworfene Drachenbaum bei Orotava auf Teneriffa, dessen Alter auf 6000 J. geschätzt wurde. D. arborĕa Link., fragrans Gawl. u.a. Arten Zimmerpflanzen.
